About Us
Sleeping Bear is a family friendly RV Park and Campground. With its beautiful views, refreshing amenities and nearby attractions, our park is the perfect vacation spot!
Sleeping Bear RV Park was built by Christine who lovingly nurtured it for 20 plus years. In 2018 she happily retired when Sleeping Bear was purchased by Open Trail Adventure LLC. The O'Malley family co-own the park with Tom and Cathy Williams and are managers of Sleeping Bear RV Park and campground. After falling in love with Lander and excitedly leaving city life far behind, the O'Malley's are eager to brighten every guests stay here at Sleeping Bear RV Park.

Lander is an outdoor hotbed, a small town of less then 8,000 people, complete with great dining, little shops, and a bustling walk-able main street. Home to Sinks Canyon, museums, a bowling alley, bronze foundry and impressive city parks. Enjoy a summer bustling with events set in the beautiful Wyoming countryside.
Rich in natural resources, Lander as been a base for oil wells and various mining including coal, uranium and iron. Wyoming of course is beef country and Lander is no exception with its ranching community. The forested covered mountains offer trees for logging and its wild animals are a hunters haven.
Over the years Lander has reinvented itself as an outdoor enthusiast paradise. Now renowned for its rock climbing, mountain biking, hunting/ fishing and more; visitors come from all over the world to partake in Wyoming's grandeur.
